CLASSES

What should I expect in my first session?

You may be feeling nervously excited or even apprehensive, which is completely normal when doing something new.

First, you’ll meet the coaches who will make you feel at ease and then familiarise you with where we train and introduce you to some of our other bootcamp members too. You will be given some kettlebells – 2 of the same weight, and it’s really important to us that you start with a light weight as we want to focus on movement and technique to begin with, once we have these foundations in place we can then look at building your strength and fitness.

Please arrive about 5 minutes early for your session and ongoing sessions. There’s always a bit of organising and setting up to do. Plus, being early will allow you to find your spot and be ready to get the most out of the session. It’s important that you work to your own ability level and take rest when you need to. There’s no ‘keeping up’ or being ‘left behind’ here!

And on a final note – it’s important to warm down and stretch off after a training session – so try not to leave before the end of the session – it’s a vital part of the program.

I am really unfit, will I be able to keep up with the group?

YES! The beauty of JC Full Body Fitness is you are encouraged to work at your own ability. Nothing is more inspiring than working out with like-minded individuals wanting to achieve similar goals. Everybody goes at their own pace yet will still achieve great results.

Is it hard?

It’s challenging and challenge equals change. You will subconsciously work harder than going to the gym on your own and be motivated whilst actually enjoying your workouts in full confidence you’re making progress.

NOTE: You may ache after the first few sessions but this will ease, just keep turning up.

What kind of exercises/workouts do you do?

We do use a variety of functional fitness equipment kettlebells, battle ropes, power sleds, medicine balls, parallettes, & body weight workouts too. Don’t worry, our professional coaches will help you during every session and we keep movement patterns super simple.

What if I have an injury or current limitations?

We can always modify a movement to make it easier or to suit certain limitations so that you are still able to take part in our sessions, we’re always happy to assist.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER BOOTCAMP?

What happens after my 6 Week Bootcamp?

Firstly, congrats for your first 6 weeks with us. The 6 weeks is just the beginning of your journey.

You’ve had the kickstart you needed which has got you re-focused, given you structure to your training regime and some decent results so far too; you certainly feel better and have seen a difference in your fitness levels and body shape. But now is the most important time. It’s at this point that you can finally break the cycle of being ‘on it’ and ‘off it’ and have the most powerful impact on your body and life – a transformation. the secret is you’ve built ‘momentum’ and when you achieve momentum, you need to grab hold of it, take advantage of it because it’s difficult to create. Too often we see people stop and quickly go back to old ways, but we would love to encourage you to carry on and continue to support you on your journey. going forward we keep it super simple, and you’ll be contacted by one of the team to chat about continuation memberships. But if you’re really keen to find out more then please do speak to us either at a session or email at jcfullbodyfitness@gmail.com or via the Facebook group.

Begins on the date of the first registration. Full T&Cs apply
